Author, Brandon Jenkins, writes about finding growth in your comfort zone. Picture shows a bookshelf recently assembled.

Why do you expect growth in your comfort zone?

I was assembling furniture yesterday (not my forte).

My wife saw frustration and asked if I wanted help.

I said no thanks.

  • I wanted to work through my frustration.
  • I wanted to learn and grow.
  • I leaned into it.

Guess what?

I ended up enjoying it and learned along the way.

Over the years, I’ve realized:

  • Tackling challenging activities helps me grow.
  • If it’s easy, how can I be growing?
  • It’s like weight training.

If you never add weight, your muscles don’t grow.

The coaching process is challenging.

  • Together, we uncover your core beliefs.
  • The core beliefs behind your activities and decisions.

It can be uncomfortable.

The result is clarity and confidence.

  • Clarity of purpose.
  • Confidence to align with that purpose.

When have you intentionally challenged yourself?

How did it help you grow?
